So you don’t need any more USB sticks (which are frequently lost and badly secured) no more burning of CD’s or DVD’s, which takes a lot of time and are also not very secure in comparison to Dropbox.

A lot of people still email files to themselved. Why not try Dropbox and see how you like that? There’s no more emailing and using your storage which you can better use for emails.
