Facebook Introduce a New Feature, The Send Button
The FB Like button is a huge success, since it was introduced a year ago. Facebook introduced a new ”Send button” to privately share things with groups and individuals. This option gives developers a new way to generate engagement and drive viral traffic to their apps, websites and blogs.
You can add the ”Send button” easily to existing Like buttons or as a standalone feature. Facebook provide code that generate a combined Like and Send button, or you can add the option for only the send button.
It’s also another way for Facebook to generate more traffic and to have an even bigger “see on things”. Everytime someone clicks on one of there buttons (be it on or of) Facebook, Facebook collects data about the user that used the button. So they know what you like, or what you “send”. Increasing the value of your profile for advertisers.
