A real and recent problem of banks. Other banks don’t trust them anymore so they can’t lend anymore from other banks. They have to lend from the Central Banks or even from private investors which is much more expensive then when you’re lending from other banks. But because the lack of trust for banks in the Eurozone, American banks don’t want to lend or borrow money from them anymore.
